In the design of an engineering project, Geotechnics is essential for evaluating the subsoil conditions to ensure safe, sustainable, and efficient construction. On the other hand, it plays a fundamental role in optimizing project solutions, managing geotechnical risks, and preserving the environment.
The Geotechnics Department has a qualified technical team, composed of geotechnical engineers, geologists, and civil engineers, who, using field and laboratory equipment making use of numerical analysis software and other tools, provide geotechnical investigation services, preparation of projects and construction supervision of engineering in accordance with applicable national and international regulations and standards.
